list of projects & awards
Since I embarked on my architectural journey in 2005, the past 19 years have been a continuous ascent filled with creative challenges, invaluable mentorship, and incredibly fulfilling achievements. Below is a comprehensive list of the projects I've been involved in throughout my career.

[Summer Internship] Hand-drafting, designing, documenting and generally assisting the Architect in a renovation of an historic home in Pasadena, California.
2005, Multi-Unit Affordable housing
[Summer Internship] Learning PowerCAD, building physical models, and assisting design on several multi-unit mixed-use developments in Los Angeles, CA.
2006, mcgill-toolen catholic high school
Working directly with the Project Architect, my first project out of architecture school was the Renovation and Expansion of an out-of-state high school. I worked from Concept Design through Construction Documents, coordinating with consultants as well as the local Architect of Record.
2007, Louisiana army national guard
My first experience with a Design/Build process, I was the point person for all communication between the Building & Construction group, the client, and our design office. I modeled and documented the project in CAD and Bentley.
2007, Al Raha Beach Hotel
Integrating a modern new extension to an existing hotel, Al Raha Beach was my first experience working in the UAE and my first Hospitality project.
2008, Ruwais Hotel
The first of new, regional hotel brand in Abu Dhabi, this project never came to fruition. An excellent study in eco-friendly desert design and my first experience leading an interior design team.
2008, sheraton sharjah Beach resort & spa
The largest Interior Design project I have experienced to-date, this resort hotel scope consisted of 4 restaurants, 3 lounges, 2 activity spaces, meeting rooms and ballrooms, guestroom interiors, as well as the main lobby design. Our team built and coordinated all documentation in Revit, while also producing numerous in-house renderings using SketchUp and Shaderlight. We also hand-drafted and sketched extensively.
2010, Melrose & san vicente retail building
My first project in my hometown of Los Angeles, this retail building went through dozens of iterations before finding a style and design that fit our client’s vision. It is now the home to one of LA’s coveted seafood restaurants.
2011, haitang bay resort & spa
I had the great fortune of working on one of the most enchanting, most exquisitely executed projects in Jerde history. The winner of the Gold Award, Best Hotel & Tourism Development by MIPIM in 2017, this project has had a lasting impact on my design sensibility and understanding.
2012, behill postmarc
Connected to Jakarta's historic General Post Office Building, this project includes a boutique hotel, live/work lofts, and a large retail center. The main public spaces also connect to the Gedung Kesenian Jakarta performance hall.
2012, Tianjin Society Hill
From masterplanning to concept design, I had the opportunity to work on a team of very talented designers to develop narratives and architectural languages for this large, dense mixed-use development in Tianjin, China.
2012, Wuhan riverfront Interior Design
My first real encounter with Retail Center Interior Design, the Wuchang project was a master class in outside-the-box conceptualizing and design. The 5-story shopping center suffered from inhumanely deep atria. Our solution - create a cloud ceiling that would hover between the 2nd and 3rd floors, dividing the space vertically between the deep, dense Earth layer and the bright, airy Heaven layer.
2013, Kuntsevo Plaza interior design
From Retail to Office, Residential Lobbies to typical Unit Interiors, this Interior Design scope encompassed the entirety of this massive development in Moscow, Russia. The Shopping Center ultimately won the award for Best Retail Architecture by International Property Awards in 2016.
2014, Distrito Frida Kahlo
The first iteration of what would ultimately become Distrito Armida, this project is the most immersive and artistic project I have experienced. With dozens of facade types, intricate paving patterns, and a vast variety of textures, this eclectic, urban artists’ hub felt perfectly suited to Frida Kahlo’s legacy in Monterrey, Mexico.
2014, pattaya living ranch
Helping formulate site strategies, programming, and architectural concepts, I had the great pleasure of working on this inspired ideation of eco-tourism.
2015, Robertson plaza
Reimagining a dated and under-utilized property on the famed Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills, our team created a concept for a neighborhood hub - a lifestyle destination tailor-made for its locality.
2015, hhla
Another great local Los Angeles, the HHLA project helped reinvigorate a struggling commercial destination. I had the opportunity to work directly with the Design Principal to study impactful architectural moves, as well as attended meetings with the client and construction teams on a regular basis.
2016, Hangzhou Grand Canal Place b04, Interior Design
At over 370,000 square meters (4 million square feet) of public commercial space, this Retail Interior Design was a mammoth undertaking. Employing the signature Jerde strategies of expressive paving patterns, awe-inspiring moments, and striking material applications interspersed with functional, strategic retail, the design and construction team produced a truly unique interior experience. This was my first time traveling to China for a project and it was a magical and unforgettable experience.
2017, Hangzhou Grand Canal Place b05, facade & Interior Design
A small, adjacent parcel to B04, I was given the opportunity to take full design lead on the facade redesign and complete interior design of parcel B05.
2017, Punta Campanario
Working with a small team to deliver an engaging and unique design for a radial, hilltop, mixed-use development looking over the historic center of Queretero, Mexico, I spent a relatively short time helping formulate a meaningful narrative and an illustrative graphic design package.
2018, Distrito Armida - concept redesign
With a dramatic shift in the design direction from the client, our team went about redesigning and reimagining the three phases of Distrito Armida.
2019, Changsha Northstar Interior Design
A quick and intense competition for the Interior Design contract within an existing project that Jerde completed years prior, this project was a thrilling and stressful exercise.
2019, San Gabriel Valley Mixed-Use
Taking the lead on the Interior Design while also helping the architectural team with design, documentation and consultant coordination, I lead a small team from Concept through Design Development on the Residential as well as the Food Hall interiors. I also worked closely with the client, our project management and the construction management team on value engineering, density revisions, and entitlements.
2019, The plaza extension
A great opportunity to flex my design and conceptualization muscles, this modest extension to a successful existing shopping center was a fun and enlightening process. I worked directly with the client and their leasing team to develop a contemporary and relevant exterior destination that would complement the existing interior mall.
2020, theme park mall
This hovering disk houses an array of attractions, restaurants, and retail offerings unique in the world of shopping centers. The design is radical and unpredictable and the process taught me a great deal about team-leadership, functional retail design, and client relations.
2021, Tijuana mixed-use development
Rising gracefully like wisps of wind-blown clouds, this impressive mixed-use development stands tall along a revitalizing section of Tijuana’s main thoroughfare, symbolizing innovation and prosperity in the area. The concept design phase was marked by extensive collaboration, including numerous local meetings and significant client engagement.
